Spin is a new serie of brooches that were first shown during the contemporary jewelry week in Paris.
These body objects were conceived/designed as mobile structures that bring ropes and concentric elements into action. Rotation is at the heart of the action and embodies a playful movement, like a wheel of fortune or an enchanted merry-go-round. The loops formed by the rope represent a non-stop action and the exuberance in the desire to pursue the fun, perhaps even up to the magma of a knot. The perpetual motion of the wheel turning on itself without stopping can accelerate, as can the rhythm of this song that invites me to enjoy the paroxysm of this moment: Don't stop me now!
